  1. Overview


    The BM89 is a fully-certified Bluetooth specification version 4.0(BR/EDR/LE) module. It integrates an on-board bluetooth 4.0 stack, 2.4GHz transceiver and RF power amplifier. With the BM89 module, designers can easily and rapidly embed bluetooth functionality into any devices and provides cost and time-to-market savings as a self-contained module solution.

    It supports GAP, SDP,SPP and GATT Profiles,Data is transparent transferred over UART interface.Configuration is made easy using AT commands.

4.4 UART Interface

The BM89 UART Pins UART_TX and UART_RX connect to the UART pins of the host MCU. The default UART Settings is Baud rate 115200bps, no flow control,8bit.

 

4.5 Power

BM89 module support lithium battery to provide power. the following figure shows an example power scheme using a 3.7v lithium-ion battery. Battery power is applied to BAT_IN pin, V3.3 is output pin.
